Not all Bed Valances are suited to the accommodation industry. Many (quite possibly more than most people think) are cheap imported retail products, which are made for the lower end of the domestic market and cannot endure the tough conditions of the accommodation industry such as continual launderings or frequent bed movement.
A hotel Bed Valance must always present well with a neat fit. Beds should be allowed to be moved around without the valance being caught in the castors. The lining on top of the bed base should never be exposed. The product must be robust and the fabric should withstand continual commercial laundering with nil shrinkage.
All our Valances are four sided and feature a ''Courtesy Flange'' to the deck of the bed ensuring the white lining is never seen by guests. Four sided Valances are so much easier for housekeepers to ensure correct bedmaking and the bed can be rotated at any time if required without being caught in the casters. This feature can be very important for accommodation properties to save both time and money whilst keeping first class bed presentation.
